I moved around A LOT as a kid and didn't quite appreciate the qualities it gave me. Those early days taught me how to be resilient and adaptive to the ups and downs life throws at you.
I've never been a great athlete. I also believed that I could do anything on my own. It took some humility on my part and picking the right mentors to be able to grow as a coach and especially as a person.
I love the journey of training. It teaches you so much about yourself. I think it's so cool to be able to have an athlete believe in themselves as much as I believe in them!
