Coach JoLynn is originally from Gardnerville, Nevada. JoLynn has lived in Las Vegas since 1995. Prior to discovering CrossFit JoLynn tried many types of exercise programs, but none held her interest. Exercise was no longer a chore, in fact she looked forward to every class. JoLynn became so passionate about fitness she ultimately lost 80 pounds and competed in a NPC bikini competition in 2014 where she won 3rd place in her division. Coach Eli was born and raised in South East Michigan. With a lifelong passion for athletics, she studied ballet for several years as a girl, dropping the toe shoes for speedos as an all-state High School Swimmer. While earning her BA in Business Management from Michigan State University, Eli played for the MSU Women’s Rugby Football club. During her rugby years she met and fell in love with Dan, another MSU rugger. Eli and Dan moved to Las Vegas after they graduated and married. In her new home Eli struggled with a gap in her life that was empty without organized sports. Group fitness classes or solo training at the LVAC were just not as satisfying athletically, emotionally, or socially, as what she was had experienced with HS or collegiate sports. Dan had been introduced to CrossFit through his law enforcement colleagues and encouraged Eli to give it a try. She was hooked after one WOD. Starting CrossFit was one of the most challenging, humbling, exhilarating, and FUN experiences of her life. Eli continued to train CrossFit through her pregnancy and returned to the gym shortly after the birth of her charming baby boy in 2014. Eli has been an avid CrossFitter since 2011. Eli has her CrossFit L2 certification and Nutrition cert and has been coaching CrossFit to all levels of athletes since 2013. She is excited to be part of the Iron Talon coaching team, and to help others share the joy she has found through the CrossFit program and community.

That first WOD changed her outlook on everything. In 2012 Michele earned her CF L1 and began coaching at EDS CrossFit. Two years later, Michele paired her love of youth education with coaching and earned her CF Kids certification as well. Michele developed and ran the CF Kids program at EDS CrossFit as well as continuing to coach adult classes. Michele joined ITCF as a member in 2015.
